Quilter Cheviot Europe, the Irish arm of discretionary wealth manager Quilter Cheviot, has hired Andrew Fahy as Head of Financial Planning with immediate effect, as it prepares to establish a financial planning proposition in Ireland.
Fahy (pictured) comes from Brewin Dolphin Ireland where he was responsible for tax and financial planning and before that held a similar role at Investec Wealth & Investment.
He will report to Brian Weber, Managing Director of Quilter Cheviot Europe.

As part of its growth strategy, Quilter Cheviot is implementing an integrated investment management and financial planning offering across its network of offices to complement the work it does with intermediary contacts to offer a management service portfolio adapted to the specific needs of clients.
This latest move will establish the financial planning operation from its Dublin office to serve European clients, where it is seeing, as is the case in the UK, growing client demand for financial planning as well as investment management.
He further stated that this move helps provide holistic financial planning and investment management to high net worth clients, while continuing to support the external community at the same time.
Quilter Cheviot Europe currently manages just over 1,500 clients and plans to expand the Dublin office over time to support the new financial planning proposition and its growth ambitions.
