Elements Europe named for £100m modular hotel and office scheme in London

European elementsan off-site specialist, has been appointed as the main contractor for a £100m modular hotel and office development in London

The central London program will provide 5 floors of office space under a 17-storey volumetric modular hotel, the 4* Motel One. The office space is aiming to achieve BREEAM “Excellent” certification, underlining the project’s sustainability credentials.

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives

The modular hotel and office development will meet the environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives of its stakeholders, with the majority of the superstructure being built in pre-engineered modules.

The project will be delivered with less embodied and operational carbon, with reduced waste levels and increased levels of first-fabric insulation performance.

The program was funded by UBS Asset Management Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) and development partners BSW Land and Property and The Pickstock Group.
