Disney+ launches across Central and Eastern Europe
The global rollout of Disney+ continues today, as Disney+ launches across Central and Eastern Europe, including Greece, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic and Croatia.
This launch is part of a wider rollout of 42 new countries and 11 new territories, following the service’s arrival in South Africa on May 18 and across the Middle East and North Africa on June 8. On Thursday, Disney+ will also launch in Israel on June 16, making the service available in 60 countries across EMEA.
With hundreds of movies, exclusive original movies and series, and thousands of TV episodes from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more, Disney+ gives fans the greatest stories, all in one place. .
Starting today, subscribers in new launch markets will get access to “Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “The Mandalorian” from Star Wars, Marvel Studios’ “Moon Knight” series starring Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee who suffers from power outages and memories from another life, and Oscar-nominated “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” starring Simu Liu and Awkwafina.
Subscribers will also be able to enjoy Disney and Pixar’s Oscar-winning ‘Soul’ and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Oscar-winning ‘Encanto’, which tells the story of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals. and Oscar-winning “Cruella,” starring Emma Stone as the legendary “Cruella de Vil.”
In general, entertainment subscribers will also be able to watch titles including the Oscar-nominated action-packed comedy “Free Guy” starring Ryan Reynolds as well as “The Simpsons” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” From National Geographic, the first season of “The World According to Jeff Goldblum” sees Jeff taking us on an entertaining, insightful and playful ride.
Users will have access to high-quality viewing, up to four simultaneous streams, unlimited downloads to up to ten devices, IMAX Enhanced for select titles (where available), and the ability to configure up to seven different profiles , including the ability for parents to set child profiles to access age-appropriate content.
