Aer Lingus confirms summer flash sale in Europe with flights from just €22

AER Lingus has launched a summer flash sale with flights to be won from €22 – confirmed a major price change on baggage fees.

Jetsetters can get up to 20% off European flights as well as up to 20% off checked bags all summer long.

The offer is valid until May 3 at midnight and valid for travel between May 1 and August 31.

A spokesperson said: “Fly off on a sunny getaway to Faro or Malaga or enjoy a great city break in Madrid or Venice, as well as many other popular European destinations.

“Aer Lingus is here to help you get into summer with this special offer valid until midnight 3rd May and is valid for travel from May 1st at 31st August 2022,

“Whether it’s island hopping in Greece via Athens or Santorini, sandy beaches in Tenerife or the elegant streets of Milan, there’s something for every type of tourist with Aer Lingus.

Aer Lingus operates a ‘Book with Confidence’ policy which allows customers to change flights as many times as they wish, should plans change.

Meanwhile, a new scheme is offering flights from Ireland to Adelaide from just €10 for 200 lucky applicants.

The Dream Scheme was set up to fill gaps in the Australian workforce.

Irish citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 can register online for the €10 return tickets, which will go on sale in May.

Applicants must also be Irish or British citizens, have a working holiday visa and be available to travel by September 30 this year.

Flights are with Qatar Airways, via Trailfinders, and applicants will also need to purchase a “starter pack” which includes accommodation on arrival and access to a tax file number and bank account.

Three-night starter packs are priced at €218 with Trailfinders.
